Friday, January 13, 2006 The taxi incident
Today is a really bad day...it started out boring and normal as usual with having to get to sch so early in the morning, and freezing in the lecture theatres even though the weather now is cold like hell.. And I was so looking forward to 1:45 when i can finally meet up with them and have fun.
Somehow when i stepped into her house, She was pissed with me already for god knows what reason....anyway this was what happened.
Her: Pick up your hair on the floor! My mum just vacuumed the floor! She will scold me if she sees this.
She: ok wait.
Me: (looking arnd i saw somemore strands of hair) Oi all these are yours are? How come so many? (and a certain thought crossed my mind but i din say it.)
sHe: Are you balding?? (this sHe said softly cuz its quite bad to tease She like that..so sHe changed it to)
sHe: Are you moulting?
(Well, apparently She didn't reply, so I emphasized.)
Me: sHe asked you if you are...
She: WJ I'm damn pissed with you!
Dots...wth did I do?
Anw, we met up with the rest in sch, and we went to tm to have lunch, after that, we looked-see arnd awhile then found out we were late alr. Time check: 4.50 pm...which taxi driver in the whole world would be stupid enuff to not wait for 5 o'clock b4 making their grand appearance? Hence the long wait for an unoccupied cab. As there was 6 of us, they were discussing who shud get into the cab and hu shud not...as I was thinking abt all of us squeezing into 1 cab, I just shoke that off as a joke when they said I was 1 of the 2 who would have to find another way to get back in time as waiting for another cab wasn't really an option. So I looked arnd trying my best to spot a stupid available cab, when I found one on the middle lane flicking its right light. (We were on the lane where he had to turn left you see.) SO, I ran all the way to the cab and tried to flag the dumb ass down, and he suddenly changed thegreen TAXI sign to Shift/Punggol....but anyway, I must have looked too ke lian alr like I've been waiting for a cab since yesterday, so he made an awkward turn to the left lane, and I sw-ear he nearly banged into the car infront of him.... like its any of my business. Anw, I pleaded with him to take us back to pasir ris, and he finally agreed.
SO, I thought ok I'm gonna get into the front sit so I don't have to squeeze at the back muahah, so I rushed into the front sit and slammed the door. Like I was laughing away since the scene then was like quite funny with everyone rushing towards the cab (like hello?? Everyone was laughing too) and I told the uncle to get to pasir ris...when the cab drove off, I suddenly realised 2 were missing, so I looked out of the window, and She was 1 of em... I started laughing at them cuz like everyone in the back were laughing crazily away. And that was when She got really pissed with me cuz I was laughing. Back at our destination, they were all saying how its my fault since I wasn't supposed to be one of em to get into the cab..and how they feel bad and stuff..and sHe said its too bad if She didn't make it cuz She didn't run for the cab...
Anw, She didn't wanna talk or sit with me, which was perfectly fine with me tbh, cuz in the end I was the one at fault still, so I decided to apologize after I offered my file while She couldn't find hers. And what did I get?
She: (glared at me) Don't force me to use the F word on you!
...... Fuck that. If She didn't want to accept my offer, just ignore me or anything so i will feel even worse than b4, but she just had to say that. She is the sort of person who Oppose greatly to vulgarities, so by saying that, she was really goin overboard. The worse thing is, She turned arnd and started talking and joking to the rest like she just said hello to me. Back then, I really wanted to slam the fucking file ont he floor, get my bag and fucking out of the place and back home where i needn't see that face. But then, 1.) it'll just cause our "friendship" to end right there and then, 2.) I didn't want to create such a huge commotion infront of my juniors, 3.) I didn't want to let others think our grp's breaking or any other wierd ideas, esp the one sitting infont of me, Its a 100 times worse to see him glee with satisfaction if we break up, 4.) I've seen how plp flare out and storm away like their the only one living in this world, and they look super disgusting. Not only that, it will only cause ur friends to start talking aabt you. Anw, I didn't apologise in the end.
SO, I decided to ren. Due to certain stuff which happened awhile later, I wanted to tell the others abt it, so I typed my msg into my phone and passed it to her to read it. After passing arnd, sHe passed my phone to She to pass it back to me. And what did She do? She flunked it onto the chair next to me, (thats not too bad actually, cuz nokia phones are quite hardy), and the Yosua went to sit on it just as I was abt to take it back! Like Puuulease don't touch my phone if you dont want to.... I'd rather you not touch it at all.
Anw tbh, I'm not really angry abt it, its my fault ultimately, and I just dont understand why She has to get so worked up over this stupid matter, but seriously, my impression of her has gone down already, even though this is the 2nd time she's pissed with me over some stupid issue. Anw, its just cuz of that sentence she said which left a really bad impression of her on me now, and I don't think its hard to forget it easily.
I dont really care much if that changes that person's perspectives of me, cuz I'm already stressed out in my new class with having to make new friends, trying to get the others from 304 who came to 222 to socialise with them, cuz basically Im sick of being the middlemen where i have to bear with the gossips of how unfriendly the "newbies" are, and how those from the 304 are saying they hate this class and are dying to get back together with the old gang.....sucks. And ontop of that, this class is really a hardworking one..they may seem like the heck care type, but every single one of em are the pia at home kind. Its rather ugly if I dont buck up to their standard and become one of the bottom few with really lousy grades. Gone are the days when the whole class doesnt study and you know ur not the only one who's gonna fail this test badly and whats not. Anw I should have this mindset alr, since the this yr is the As yr, as scary as it sounds, its slowly creeping up to everyone of us, and when it reaches our neck, it zooms up onto our head and b4 you know it, it'll evaporate into a history which one, I believe, will never forget about.
SO, ya! I'[ve decided not to brrod over this issue anymore! Gonna have to finsh up my work for tml tuition session at this ulu place in siglap, ya....dont brood abt the stupid thing, go focus on ur work, tml after tuition Im going out with my fren to get my cny clothes haha! so there! something good to look forward to....ok cya bye!
PS: Mayb its cuz I've seen too many goodbyes, but I dont feel as emotional as the rest are cuz Bjorn's leaving to UK to study god knows what....quite sudden right? But anyway im gonna miss him, and let whoever bless him on his studies over there. Hope we can keep in touch? =D BTW i'll be blogging less often from now on, sch life is too hectic and it SUCKS!
