Saturday, January 14, 2006 This morning, I stupidly set the dumb alarm clock to wake me up at 8.30 am so I can finish the 10MI qns I've yet to do for my tuition with chairatee. (HELLO?? Its a bright and sunny saturday!!!) but anyways, I forced myself to get outta bed and to start doing my work b4 my dad sees me and faints. (Cuz apparently I NEVER wake up early on a sat morn to do work! cept nearing the exams la..) Anw, I din managed to finish the qns, but I left the house at 10.15 to head to Kembangan then call the woman and ask her how in the world I'm supposed to get to her place.
SO, I reached the station at 10.45 and called her...
Me: Uh..I reached alr..so how do I get to your house?
The woman: Oh you wait by the main road at the drainage exit there..I'll come to fetch you.
WOAH! omg which tuition teacher wud do such a thing one? But anw, she fetched me to her house, and brought me to the bus stop, (her house is directly opposite to VJC > ok lo let them jian.
Once in toa payoh, at the centre of attarction, thats what i called it, cuz plp always set up a stage there for performances and wateva, its the part where lazy plp like me can take the lift down to the trains instead of the escalator which is like 3 steps away. Anw, I was in luck as this show was starting. ok, I thought to myself, hope its smth interesting. And I read the banner which says: Miss Divine 2006. OOoooookkkkkk.....even this sort of modelling contest also got. like wth is a miss divine anyway, and the Mc was like,
MC: This Miss divine contest is abt looking for someone who is environmentally friendly, and of course , being a model, she has to be beautiful.
Me: (I was like Duh..anw this is some lame modelling contest)
MC: Our 1st contestant, XXX xxx xxxxx, age xx, student, she loves swimming, cooking, and listening to music.
Oh My God. This is so bloody cliche man. yaya I love watching movies, swimming, studying, reading, cooking, sleeping, listening to music, etc. Oh man...and btw, the "models" Cannot Make It! 1.) Looks => X 2.) expression => XX(they nvr smile at all..infact, they are like so serious, and focusing on how to catwalk which is totally hopeless still) 3.) Catwalk => XXX
Anw I decided to find smth more interesting to do , so I headed to entertainment centre.. At ground floor beside LJS, there was this gigantic Memoirs of a geisha "set up" (how do you call those things? sorry my eng very lan) with zhang ziyi's face right smacked flat in the centre and blown up like 100000 times, and her blue contacts was so obvious...like dunno why she wanna act ang moh in this show. and i moved on, and saw this show called "My kung fu mate" or smth like that, starring,
With the memoirs of a geisha beside this small teeny poster, this show doesnt look like its worth watching.
Anw, he finally came after what seemed like ages, and we headed to ton to shop. Cuz he was late, he decided to treat me to ding tai feng! Wow....rich ass. Its the restaurant which makes the best xiao long bao in the world! And trust me, its really very very very extremely nice! even w/o adding vinegar, you will eat until you shiok and will scream and tear your hair out when u realise there's none left on the plate. Their la mian is also not bad. But the MUST eat when you go there is 1.) the xiao long bao, 2.) Thier la mian, 3.) Their dim sum, 4.) the fried rice (variations), 5.) the beancurd appetizer. However, the price is very nice too. Just for the 2 of us, we paid 43 bucks haha! Anw is not i pay one..so ya hahahaa!
Well there's still lots to say, but we went to get his sis bday gift, and I had to leave after that.
PS: I finally decided what to get for B-yawn. Now the problem is when I'll find time to get it.
