Wednesday, September 20, 2006 Oh, before leaving my house, Abi called to ask if we (AX) were going out after chem paper...
Me: Huh? You still got S paper u still wanna go out?
Abi: Heck la, today's my birthday I don't care I'm going out no matter what, I'm not spending my birthday staring at 4 walls.
Me: Uh, ok.... I dunno where we going leh..
Abi: It's either I go out with you all or my classmates.
Me: Uh yaya go out with them cuz Felusoh say she wanna go home to watch her mr. fighting (not nice show one)
Abi: har...ok ok lo I go out with my class.
Wah lucky sia, cuz we were going out to buy her birthday present ma, so obviously cannot ask her to go out right? Ok nvm, then when I got to sch, I met abi, felusoh and teresa and go benches there and guess what??
Felusoh: Eh abi, later we going to buy your present leh.
Abi and the rest of us: !!!!!!!!!
Me: (Nearly died)
Teresa: (Almost fainted)
Abi: (Totally stunned)
The rest of the sch: Oh! (Exclaimed loudly)
Abi: Why you tell me! See la you spoilt the fun alr! Now I know your going out to buy my present la!
Teresa: (Gave up on the situation and went back talking to her friends)
Me: Why you tell her?!?!?!!!!
Felusoh: (Still blurred and ignorant to the mistake she made)
As you all can see, she says I have a big mouth, but dunno who's is 10 times bigger than mine. Abi was like blaming her all the way to the hall where we took our exam, and she wanted so badly to go out with us now.
Abi: You see la, mouth so big...
Felusoh: (Pouting away like an aunty)
Abi: (cackled) Haha, ok better not say, wait she don't wan to buy my present. Ok your mouth very small ok?
Felusoh: (relaxed a little)
Abi: No wait mouth so small you look very ugly also! donwan, ok your mouth a little bit bigger than that hahaha.
Me: (Was laughing like a mad person in the midst of all the tense plp waiting outside the hall)
And then we went in for our last and final paper. U know smth? Why do plp say last and final? like isn't last = final and vice versa?? Wierd usage of english. Anw, we couldn't decide what to buy for her (Felusoh thot of buying her a haircut -.-!) And we just hopped onto a bus which led us all the way to town.
Where did we stopped at? Felusoh's hao jie shao brought us to takashimaya shopping centre where we were looking for earrings for abi, and 1.) We were wearing sch u which looked totally out of place. 2.) The prices there were by any means, not affordable and Felusoh brought us around to look at bags she couldn't afford to buy. But in the end, we bought this pair of cute diamond (like stones) filled teddy bear earrings for her. Which cost like $15? ya think so...and Felusoh begged us to buy this pair of "7" earrings for teresa's birthday so she can get this $10 voucher. I swear I have nvr seen another more cheapo person in my entire life. Well, now I have.
After which, we were suddenly done and not knowing what to do next, we strolled all the way to Far East and I nearly broke my legs walking (figuritive only la) and we went in to eat MARS BARS!!! Oh my gosh that's the best creation anyone has ever made in their entire life! They cut the mars bars into small pieces, and dumped it into this flour mixture thingy then fried them, making them all sooo crispy and good on the outside, but melts once u bite onto it like pure liquid chocolate. To a bowl, they put in 4 balls of these fried mars bars, and then your choice of a big scopp of vanilla or chocolate ice cream with the finishing of sticky chocolate layers to the whole thing and BAM! This wonderous, guilty, imperial dish is served for only $2.95 at level 1 of far east centre!
After this guilty snack, we decided to go for dinner cuz somebody wanted to go home to watch her mr. fighting (which I think is not nice). So we went back to taka (ya, walked alllllll the way back and digested everything alr) to eat our la mian at Crystal "ruby" la mian xiao long bao. Felusoh was saying that she went there alot of times after our 1st partial AX dinner there, and she wanted to jie shao this dish which she claimed was "very nice" which cost like $10. Like ok, so kz and I were thinking if it's nice, then it's ok to spend another $3 on another nice side dish. She pointed to the menu.
Felusoh: It may look very disgusting on the menu, but I ate before and it's actually very nice!
So we ordered it, and it came. What it looked like, I can only describe it as a whole plate of white egg-ish stuff plus one (nearly raw) egg yoke floating on top. Kz and I were kinda stunned, but Felusoh took the first step into smashing the egg and mixing that...white egg-ish stuff.
Felusoh: Is very very nice! got egg white, abalone and fish one! very nice!(and she took a big spoonful and gulped it down)
Uncertainly, Kz took a small spoonful and sip by sip, he ate that stuff down. Looking at him, I gave him the so-what-do-you-think look . Kz just stared at me like he ate something nasty and started to drink gulps of cold water down.
Me: Uh....so how is it?
Felusoh: It's very nice what, not nice meh? got abalone and fish ma, very nice what..
Kz: (gave me the stare) .....you try yourself then you know lo.
not knowing what to do with Felusoh staring at me, I took a small spoonful and tried it. What it tasted like? Very simple. Eggwhite soaked in eggyoke.
Me: WHAT?!?! THIS IS LIKE TOTALLY EGG WHITE CAN? HOW MUCH IS THIS FREAKING THING??
Kz: ....$10
Felusoh: Very nice what, not nice meh? Got abalone and fish you must try them ma, very nice what....not nice meh?
Me: Oh my god....$10...for a plate of egg white... I think I can make at home lo much cheaper by $10 can?
Kz: Ya lo, the abalone is not those fresh one, is dried one, and somemore cannot even see at all one lo
Felusoh: Ok la, that time my uncle brought us to some club and he ordered this, that time the abalone is fresh one, this one like quite plain...but is nice what! not nice meh??
Kz: Aiyo! Nobody say it's not nice what!!
Me: Ya lo, like u are the only one here who keep saying its not nice meh, its not nice meh?
Me: Ok put it this way, plp who like to eat egg white will find it nice, plp who don't like to eat eggwhite won't find it nice.
After dinner, (kz couldnt finish and ta pao-ed home), he wanted to carry an AX paper bag, so he plucked up the courage, with Felusoh and I encouraging him behind, and went over to the cashier to ask the hunk and babe there for one.
Cashier (the hunky one): Yes, may I help you?
Kz: Hi, ya can I have a plastic bag?
Me: (Screamed and ran out of the shop and into the corner to hide my face.)
The hunky cashier: (stunned for a min) Oh, ok give me a min, I'll give you a recycled one.
After a while, Kz came out of the shop carrying the rather cool though, AX recycled paper bag.
Me: !! Omg! Why you say plastic bag?!! It's called a carrier!!! More sophisticated can?! Omg so diu lian, the cashier must be thinking this person come wrong place....
Kz: Oh ya hor, no wonder sounds so wrong. But the plastic bag quite nice leh, recycled somemore.
Me: CARRIER!
And naturally, it was Felusoh who carried the AX empty paper bag all around town thinking she'd look more glamourous and sophisticated with it. Well, after that we went home haha, nothing more to blog abt alr...ok la, I gtg, Jh's bugging me to help him with his blog... Signing off.
