One Last Dance
I just went to watch the show, and my gosh, it was totally confusing from the very beginning till the end. They flashback from the start w/o giving u any warnings, then come back to the present w/o any warning, then spin you all around and leave you to spin somemore after the whole show.

The show is about how this mafia boss's son got kidnapped by mafias who are in search of some drugs who are working under the italian mafia, because only that son knows where the drugs are. The boss mafia then decided to hire an anonymous assassin to kill off these mafias who kidnapped his son, (and ultimately killed him), and never did the assassin knew that this would lead him to killing himself in the end. This whole show is really bloody compliccated that up till now, I'm still very confuse as o why he whatever he did at the end of the show.
But then story wise, I understood the main gist la, and it's really very very interesting and innovative. It's one of the first shows that lays it's story down bits and pieces at the beginning, then strings it all up in the middle, and continue down the line till the end. So, therefore it's a must watch.
One thing I don't really like about it, are the subtitles. The whole show is in chinese, and the subtitles don't give a direct translation from the chinese subtitles. Here's an example.
Chinese: Ni xian ba nai dao jin bei zi li, ran hou ba cha dao jin qu.
(First, pour the milk into the teacup, then pour in the tea.)
English: You pour the tea, only after you pour the milk into the teacup.
Well, maybe it's nothing to fuss about, but I mean, they will show the first part of the sentence to the comma, thne show the next part of the sentence, and if you understand chinese, you'll hear them talking, and expecting to see something that's directly translated into english, rather than changing the whole eng subs although carrying the same gist as that in chinese.
Another example:
Chinese: Ni wei she me sha ta?!
(Why did you kill him?!)
English: Why the fuck did you kill that asshole?!
And almost every subtitles from mafia speech consists of fuck lol, even though the ONLY bad word (phrase) that was said once in chinese in that show is just
ta ma de. I don't get what the hell is wrong with the person who did the subtitles for english. But honestly, I don't have any problems with the fuck thing, but can't they just translate properly? I mean like hello, I even saw malays watching the show la! They must be like, ohhh so that's how fuck sounds like in Chinese. And then, huh? I thought Fuck sounded like that, now it sounds different in this sentence? O.o!
Aiya but lol, I decided not to read the eng subs anymore after awhile. But yeah, it's a really good watch, and I got a spot in GV max muahahaha! Like whoa, the whole theatre is so huge that it can easily be seperated into 2 original size GV theatres, and the screen is like soooo bloody huge. Those who kena the sits from the 3rd row down to 1st row can just give their ticket up and buy better ones next time, or risk getting a neck sprain from watching any show in there.
Ok that's about it, though the main lead is not some hunk, though he may be for Shirlynn, who likes this kind of
lao la nan zi han. And that Vivian Hsu is the model for Hang Ten, incase you dunno. Ciaoz
